About Sand Prairie Blooms
Hi Everyone!
I’m Hannah - the flower enthusiast, plant nerd, and gal behind Sand Prairie Blooms!
I have always had a passion for gardening thanks to a handful of women with green thumbs in my family. In 2019, I decided to dabble in growing some cut flower varieties amongst our vegetables. After the first year, I was hooked.
Every year since then, I have expanded the size of my cutting garden, learned and failed trying new flower varieties, and fueled a growing interest for floral design. The growing interest for floral design led me to working at a flower shop throughout college. This experience gained me the privilege of arranging wedding florals for my siblings and a handful of family members. From then on, in order to fill my creative outlet - the solution was to grow more flowers!
In the past 7 years, I’ve spent a lot of time learning from my experiences and soaking up the joy that growing and arranging flowers brings. Nothing compares to seeing someone you love light up when you present them an arrangement. The act of using flowers to acknowledge an achievement, birthday, anniversary, loss, or “just cause” is a beautiful thing.
I have loved sharing fresh flowers with family & close friends over the years, but I felt a calling to share my passion with a broader reach of people. I wanted to have a part in brightening more people’s day and sharing the beauty of flowers. So in 2025, I finally gave my favorite hobby a name and thus began Sand Prairie Blooms. One could say it’d been in the making for a while…
How’d you get the name?
